How You Can Help Provide breakfast foods or snacks during the Summer or School Year Programs to help drive down operational costs. Speak at a Career Day and share your professional experience with the students. Host a cocktail party, during which Breakthrough Atlanta staff could make a brief presentation, and Breakthrough Atlanta board members could meet other important community members interested in education. Provide in-kind donations, such as office supplies, computers, or books. Provide a special day of learning by providing tickets/passes to the Atlanta History Center, Zoo Atlanta, Atlanta Botanical Garden, High Museum of Art, APEX African American History Day, CNN Center, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, or the Carter Center. Host a Breakthrough Atlanta teaching intern in your home over the summer. Teachers come from across the country and require housing for six weeks.
