Introduction Welcome to Mrs. Greer’s Poetry WebQuest. First, you will learn about different types of poetry.  Second, you will explore the internet by searching for answers to a fun scavenger hunt! Third, you will show off what you learned by writing your own poetry. Task A. You are responsible for learning about five different types of poetry: Acrostic, Haiku, Cinquain, Limerick, and Diamante. B.  Next, you will search the web to complete a poetry scavenger hunt. C.  Last, you will create a poem for each of the types listed above. Complete the scavenger hunt with the help of the provided websites. After reviewing the particular types of poetry and completing the scavenger hunt create one of each of the 5 poems listed in #1. Type them in Microsoft Word.   Evaluation You will be evaluated by how you complete your three tasks.  Make sure you follow all directions for every task. Be sure to save each of your poems. Also, save all work to the server.  Complete the scavenger hunt by typing your answers in Microsoft Word as you find them. All together you should have 6 (or more) pages to turn in, one for each of the 5 types of poems, and one for the scavenger hunt.  We will use the "Turn your Projects in" folder to turn these in.
