        Caricatures in Landscape

You've already created your caricature images using PhotoShop.
To create your landscape picture, choose a background image which includes water, land, and sky.
Place at least 5 caricatures (1 of your own, 1 of each of your classmates' caricatures) into the landscape.

        Here are the criteria:
                - 1 caricature in the foreground (very close to the "camera")
                - 1 caricature in the distance (far away from the "camera")
                - 1 midrange (between the two described above)
                - 2 others at any range

Use the clone/stamp tool to place each of the caricatures in your background image.
With each caricature image you choose to include,
select clone/stamp tool and Option-Click on the focal point of the caricature.
Move to the background image, CREATE A NEW LAYER (ONE FOR EACH CARICATURE YOU ADD)
and begin stamping the caricature into the background image
Switch to the Eraser tool to remove unwanted parts of the cloned caricature.
Return to the Clone/Stamp tool to expose more of the cloned image.
Remember both tools (clone/stamp and eraser) have their own set of options
                        - hard or soft edge, size, opacity, etc.

Your goal should be to make the caricatures look like they "live" in the background picture.

You've already seen some examples, so now see what you can come up with.
Save the project as PDF. Do not flatten the image.
You may turn in your final project on Monday 1/28.

Photoshop CS3 - images and resolution
Working with copies of the image you've selected from the internet, adjust the document size and/or resolution to create a collage something like this:

Picture 3.png

Note the Layers panel to the right (above.)
Background layer is the original image
Layer 1: document size 10% (of original)
Layer 2: document size 50% (of original)
Layer 3: visibly blurry, describe changes from original image
Layer 4: distorted, discribe changes from original image

Save the layered Photoshop document - "GrahamPhoto1.psd" Turn it in on the server.
Flatten the document and Save As.... "GrahamPhoto1Flat.jpg" Turn it in on the server, too.
