Creating a website using Mozilla Composer

Welcome to the Mozilla Composer Tutorial. You are here because you want to create a website. There are actually many ways to make a website, including:

Writing HTML code by hand
Using other programs such as Microsoft Front Page, Claris Home Page, and Macromedia Dreamweaver
Using the FirstClass Homepage Construction Kit (teachers only)
Using the WebClass system (teachers only)

Mozilla Composer is free, cross-platform (it works on many operating systems, including MacOS, Windows, and Linux), and easy to use. It provides basic and advanced tools to create web pages. This tutorial explains just a few of those tools. Its goal is for you to be able to create functional, simple websites without having to learn too many complex commands.
