You can add images (pictures) to your page very easily. Remember, in order for a web site to work properly, all of the files that make up the site must be inside your main folder. So, you must first make sure that the image files that you want to add are already somewhere inside that folder.
| Make sure you have a folder for images in your website folder. |
Browse to the image that you want to use. Find the Control key at the bottom of the keyboard, on the far left or right. Holding this key down, click on the image. Choose Save Image As...from the menu that pops up. |
| Find your image folder in the save dialog. Be sure to name the file using a short word without spaces. |
| On your page in Composer, the text insertion point (the blinking vertical bar) indicates where the image will appear in your page. Be sure it is positioned where you want your image to go. Click on the image button in the toolbar at the top of the window. |
| In the dialog sheet, click on Choose File... and open an image from your folder to insert. |
In the text box labeled Alternate Text:, type in a brief description of the image. This text will show up on the page if the image could not be loaded for some reason. |
