The available media files on this page are in MP3 format, which is a compressed music file. A suitable player is necessary to hear them on your computer. I recommend ITUNES for Mac and PC users (If you are on Linux, you don't need my help with this - XMMS) as it is completely free. Windows machines come with Windows Media Player installed which also plays MP3's, and all new Macintoshes have iTunes already installed. I still recommend getting iTunes if you don't have it. It is the best MP3 player/organizer in the business.
There are a couple of options as to how you can listen to these MP3's, all depending on how your computer is set up. Some computers are set up so that all you have to do is click on the link and it will download and play it for you. I prefer to save the MP3 to my computer first, so that way I can listen to it over and over again from my computer. You can make a Lovett MP3 folder, and store all of these files there.
To save the files to your computer, you must right click on the desired link (CONTROL-CLICK if you have a Macintosh) and select "Save Link As..." "Save Link To Disk" or "Save File To Disk" or "Download Link To Disk". Different computers and different browsers all say it differently, but you get the idea. Then you make sure you save the file to your DESKTOP, so that you know where to find it. Later, you can move it to the Lovett MP3 folder. Double click on the file you downloaded, and your MP3 player should begin playing the file. File sizes can be quite large for some of the longer works, so please be patient. An 8.0 MB file will take a good 15-20 minutes to download on a 56K modem connection. |
