All 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Orchestra students will receive a practice sheet and guide ("STAR" sheets) every week. Each sheet has several "stars" which the student will color every time he or she practices a particular passage or completes an activity.  The sheets are self explanatory.   All "STAR"  sheets will be collected and placed in each student's folder.  These will be examined periodically to make sure that a regular practice routine is in place and works for that child.
