4th Grade Band
Students are continuing to learn new musical concepts:
Balance within the pyramid of sound, dynamics such as forte and mezzo forte, crescendo and decrescendo, ties and slurs, pick-up notes, dotted notes, key signatures, accents, eighth note rhythms, different time signatures, fermatas, maintaining tempo, harmony, counter melody, call and response, phrasing, etc.

5th Grade Band
5th graders are applying many learned musical concepts to their sheet music. They are also learning to perfect chorale style playing.

7th Grade Jazz Band
Regular sectionals and weekly rehearsals are yielding wonderful sounds! We are performing in these jazz styles:
Latin Jazz, Jazz Rock,  and styles influenced by New Orleans.

8th Grade Jazz Band
Regular sectionals and rehearsals are going well! We are performing in these jazz styles:
Latin Jazz, 20's Swing Jazz, 70's Funk, and Bebop styles of the 50's and 60's.
