Two baby Bangii in aquarium.

Pteragon kaudderni, commonly know as the Bangaii cardinal fish, are a reef-dweling saltwater species. In 1933, Frederik Petrus Koumans classified the Bangaii cardinals. There are continueing efforts being made to classify the Bangaii’s as endangered species. Bangaii’s are usually found off the islands of Indonesia. The Bangaii fish will be given ideal conditions for living and will be fed live brine shrimp on a daily basis. These fish like good lighting and if they are given this lighting, they will be more active during the day. The purpose of this experiment is to see what conditions will increase breeding between the male and female.
