ART AND BEYOND! TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO!
The purpose of a 3rd-5th grade art curriculum is to challenge students in a safe environment with art materials, investigate ideas and visual images. Students will imagine possibilites, explore alternatives, and reflect on their own art. Students will explore and refine the application of media, techniques and artistic processes.
Intramural students joined Mrs. Schneider after school to make artwork for the Atlanta Humane Society “Be Kind to Animals Week” art contest. The contest is open to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade, and it's a great way to use your talent to promote "Be Kind to Animals Week” (the first full week of May every year). Everyone who enters is a winner! Each entry will receive a Certificate of Recognition. Judges will select Grand Prizes and Runners-Up in each age category based on message, originality, creativity, and artistry.
