Welcome to Science - Grades 1-3
Our first units of study are as follows:
Grade 1 - Investigating Magnets
Grade 2- Investigating Matter
Grade 3 - Investigating Electricity
Each grade level has begun the year by being introduced to the Scientific Method and we will be referring to this model throughout the year. The children will be encouraged to develop their natural curiosity by asking questions, to come up with hypotheses, to test their hypotheses with experiments, and then to learn how to state their conclusions.

We will be composting again this year and would really appreciate you bringing in used coffee grounds and crushed eggs shells!
