*Please bring in a car seat if you wish your child to use one for our field trip on Thursday, March 4.
*From Mrs. Quintero:  You are cordially invited to the K-1 Spring Music Informance, “I’ve Got a Song to Sing” on April 30th at 9:00am (to be held in the chapel).  What’s an informance?  An informance is a performance that informs the audience about grade-level curriculum, daily music activities and specific content areas.  Last chance to view the winter K-1 Music Web page and pictures.  Spring information with new pictures will be posted soon.  Web page address is:  http://fc.lovett.org/~cquintero/

Special Information:
*We do have a peanut allergy in our classroom.  Please be sensitive to this when bring in food or treats.

Our learning has included:
*how to make our partner talk even better by giving our partners compliments and asking them questions about the book.
*learning how to be good listeners and giving compliments to our peers as they share their Fairy Tale.  The fairy tales will be displayed outside our door.  They are fantastic!
*understanding fact families and how to subtract.
*reviewing everything we've learned about China and the Chinese culture from Mrs. Walden.
*practicing different types of blends that come at the end of the word.
